“Casi todo en París es más interesante”: Petro le responde con ironía a dura carta de Álvaro Leyva
El presidente reaccionó a los señalamientos del excanciller, quien lo acusó de estar mal rodeado y mencionó supuestos problemas de drogadicción.
El presidente Gustavo Petro no dejó pasar la polémica carta que le envió el excanciller Álvaro Leyva, en la que lo critica con dureza, cuestiona a sus funcionarios de confianza y lanza graves afirmaciones sobre su salud personal.
A través de su cuenta de X, el mandatario respondió con ironía y sin mencionar directamente a Leyva:
“La única manera para que la prensa publique cartas, es insultándome. No solo habla mal del escritor, sino de la prensa”.
“¿París no tiene parques o museos más interesantes que el escritor?”
Petro también se refirió de forma indirecta a una de las acusaciones más polémicas del excanciller: una supuesta “desaparición” durante un viaje oficial a París, que Leyva relaciona con un presunto problema de drogadicción.
“¿Es que París no tiene parques, museos, librerías, más interesantes que el escritor, para pasar dos días? Casi todo en París es más interesante”, escribió el mandatario, agregando además que tiene familiares en la ciudad:
“¿Acaso no tengo hijas y nietas en París, muchísimo más interesantes que el escritor?”
Las duras afirmaciones de Leyva
En su carta, Leyva hizo un llamado a Petro para que se aleje de funcionarios como el ministro del Interior y la canciller Laura Sarabia. Pero lo que más ha causado revuelo son las frases personales:
“Fue ahí donde pude confirmar que usted tenía el problema de la drogadicción (…) Guardo en mi interior la pena de no haber intentado extenderle la mano. Lo cierto es que nunca se repuso usted”.
Las palabras del excanciller han generado controversia en la opinión pública y una ola de reacciones políticas en redes sociales. Hasta el momento, ni Benedetti ni Sarabia han respondido a las menciones en la misiva.
