Gobernador de Antioquia defiende a Uribe tras polémica con Petro
El gobernador de Antioquia, Andrés Julián Rendón, se sumó a la disputa que protagonizaron el presidente Gustavo Petro y el expresidente Álvaro Uribe en redes sociales. Rendón arremetió contra Petro, criticando sus comentarios y señalando que contradicen el discurso de diálogo impulsado por el ministro del Interior, Juan Fernando Cristo, que aboga por un acuerdo nacional con todas las fuerzas políticas. Este conflicto sigue generando reacciones en distintos sectores políticos del país.
Una discusión que no cesa
El cruce entre Gustavo Petro y Álvaro Uribe estalló este fin de semana cuando el expresidente Uribe criticó la reforma laboral que propone el actual Gobierno. Uribe calificó la reforma como perjudicial para las pequeñas empresas y acusó al mandatario de promover políticas que van en detrimento del país. Petro, por su parte, respondió recordando viejos episodios de la vida de Uribe y acusándolo de haber brindado malas condiciones laborales a sus trabajadores.
En medio de este cruce de declaraciones, el gobernador Rendón publicó un fuerte mensaje en su cuenta de X (anteriormente Twitter) en el que defendió a Uribe: “¡Respete, presidente Petro! Sus palabras hacia un hombre como Álvaro Uribe Vélez son peligrosas y engañosas. Mientras usted escogió el camino de las armas, él optó por el trabajo junto a su familia”. Además, Rendón señaló que este tipo de confrontaciones están lejos del llamado a un acuerdo nacional que promueve el ministro Cristo.
Acuerdo Nacional en la cuerda floja
Este último enfrentamiento entre Petro y Uribe pone en duda la viabilidad del acuerdo nacional que impulsa el Gobierno. El ministro del Interior ha trabajado en la construcción de un diálogo con diferentes sectores políticos para enfrentar los grandes retos del país, pero la crispación política, sumada a la situación de inseguridad en regiones como Cauca, ha complicado estos esfuerzos.
El propio presidente Petro ha insistido en que su propuesta de seguridad incluye golpear las economías ilícitas, pero también transformar las condiciones sociales y económicas de las regiones más afectadas. A pesar de ello, la oposición y parte de la ciudadanía siguen cuestionando su enfoque, especialmente después de polémicas como esta.
Por su parte, Uribe respondió a Petro con una nueva afirmación, en la que criticó al mandatario por no abordar los problemas del país de manera efectiva. Uribe defendió su historial como hacendado, señalando que la intervención de la guerrilla fue la responsable de los problemas que vivió en sus propiedades, y negó categóricamente haber utilizado métodos violentos para recuperarlas.
